Healing & Education
Qi Gong, Acupuncture, Ancestral Healing

A Vision for Self-Sufficiency
in 2017, our founder John Tindall began teaching youths in an Amazonian Indigenous community who were losing touch with their ancestral practices. He shared skills in:
-
Qi Gong – to build health, balance, and inner strength
-
Acupuncture & Natural Healing – simple techniques to care for themselves and their families
-
Cultural Preservation – reconnecting with the wisdom of their ancestors
These practices gave the youths the confidence to look after their own health and pass this knowledge to their community.
At Senen Yoi, we believe that true sustainability begins with empowering the next generation. Our mission is to support Indigenous Amazonian youths in learning the skills and knowledge to heal themselves, their community, and their land.

Building a Foundation for the Future

In the early stages, with the funding we had, we were able to introduce healing classes and create a space for learning. When COVID arrived, funding became limited. We used what we had to protect the nature reserve and maintain the community space, ensuring that the land and facilities would be ready to welcome students again.
Now, we are ready to restart and expand the Healing & Education programme—but we need your support to do it.
Your Impact
With your help, we can:
- Reintroduce Qi Gong and acupuncture training for Indigenous youth
- Provide resources and learning materials for children and the community
- Continue to preserve ancestral healing knowledge for generations to come
